My name is Tara Cormier, and I recently became the Art teacher to all students in grades Pre-K through 8. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Assumption College, with a major in English and minor in Education.
I am no stranger to the school, having attended Holy Rosary as a student myself from K-8, and sending my four children here as well. Domenic graduated 8th grade in 2017, and will be a senior in high school this year. Xavier, Amelia, and Oliver will respectively be in grades 7th, 4th, and Pre-K this fall. Since my oldest began at Holy Rosary/Holy Family Academy back in the fall of 2008, I have immersed myself in volunteering for the school. I have been room mom, helped with computer classes, served lunches, chair a bazaar booth, organize fundraisers, and coordinate social events, to name a few. I am an active member and co-chair of the Parent Association, and I have also substitute taught all grades over the past 12 years.
My husband, Craig, and I are the directors of the annual school musical, where we work with upwards of 1/3 of the student body in any given year to produce an hour long musical, which is performed each May.
I love working with the students, and enjoy watching them show their individuality and creative sides in Art class.
