Scholarships for the 2022-2023 School Year
The Raymond and Lorraine Leclerc Scholarships for Academic Excellence These scholarships (worth up to $1200.00) are awarded to students advancing from 5th grade to 6th, from 6th to 7th, or from 7th to 8th. Students are selected based upon recommendation from their teachers. The students who are chosen will have displayed academic excellence by their course grades, active classroom participation, and class attendance record. In addition, they will have displayed application of their learning through volunteer service to the parish or community, good character, and upstanding behavior. Forms are available to apply for one of these scholarships.
Leclerc Promising Student Scholarship These scholarships (worth up to $1000.00) are awarded to new students to H.F.A. who show promise to become excelling members of our community. These Scholarships are awarded upon recommendation of the Principal based upon prior academic record, demonstration of service to their parish or community, indication of good character, and as a result of an interview of the parents and child with the Principal.
Holy Family Merit Scholarships These scholarships ($200.00 each) are awarded to returning students who demonstrate growth and commitment to their education and who contribute to the positive atmospherere of the school. Students are recommended by faculty and staff to the Principal who reviews requests with a panel to make determinations for awards.
The Kymalinen Scholarships
Two scholarships are available from this fund:
(1) $500.00 scholarships awarded to graduating 8th grade students who will be attending a Catholic High School in the Fall of 2022
(2) Scholarships awarded to Pre-K students who will be attending our Kindergarten and have shown growth and/or potential as determined by the Pre-K teachers.
Tousignant Alumni Memorial Scholarships
These scholarships are made possible through the generosity of the alumni of Holy Family Academy or of either of its former constituent schools (Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School and Sacred Heart School). Children and grandchildren of alumni of either school are eligible. The amount of these awards is based upon the number of applicants and available funds (which will be evenly distributed to the qualified applicants).
The Louis R. Dubois Scholarship For The Arts
These scholarships are made possible through the generosity of the family of Louis R. Dubois to be awarded to students who show talent and dedication to the arts. Students may apply, and the decision will be made by a panel comprised of the Art and Music Teachers and directors of the school musical and other artistic productions.
