Greetings Alumni and Friends of Catholic Education in Gardner, MA,

Under the guidance of Principal Colette Goguen and Headmaster Father Victor Sierra, Holy Family
Academy has emerged as a leading institution in Catholic elementary education within the Diocese of
Worcester. Established in 2014 through the merger of Sacred Heart School and Our Lady of the Holy
Rosary School, Holy Family Academy provides a high-quality Catholic education to both Catholic and
non-Catholic students from the Greater Gardner community. 

Here is a quick snapshot of Holy Family Academy: 

• Diverse community with increasing enrollment. 

• 2024-2025 school year: 223 students from 14 communities, Pre-K through 8th grade. 

• Expanded Pre-K and Kindergarten programs. 

• Average classroom size: 17 students. 

• Daily attendance rate: 95%. 

A Commitment to Excellence 
The school is dedicated to fostering the intellectual and spiritual growth of its students. Our holistic
approach focuses on:

•  Core Skills: Building a strong foundation in fundamental subjects. 

• Enriched Learning: Offering specialized programs to stimulate intellectual, spiritual, physical,
  emotional, and social development. 

•  Extracurricular Opportunities: Expanding our offerings in athletics and the arts.

• Thriving Programs: Our renowned drama program captivates audiences with annual
  performances, and our athletic teams excel in cross country, basketball,
  and skiing. 

As the chair of our Alumni Annual Campaign, I am reaching out to invite you to join us in a meaningful
effort to strengthen Holy Family Academy. We are excited to announce the launch of our five-year
strategic plan, designed to enhance the educational experience for our students and support our
dedicated educators. Every gift, no matter the size, is a testament to your commitment to the future of
Catholic education in Greater Gardner.

Mission Statement of Holy Family Academy

Holy Family Academy provides a Catholic liberal arts education, bringing members of a diverse community to a deeper life with Christ. Within a safe and loving environment, it challenges students intellectually, spiritually,and morally so that they may grow in wisdom, grace and strength before God and mankind.

With your tax-deductible donation, monies from this fund will be used to support the following:

• Provide tuition scholarships to families in need who wish to send their child to Holy Family
  Academy but cannot afford the cost.

• Provide annual classroom setup stipends to our incredible faculty who use their own monies to
  prepare their classrooms each year.

• Provide uniform scholarships to families in need.

• Provide Book fee scholarships to families in need.

• Support extracurricular student activity costs outside of the schools operating budget.
